This flamboyant console was clearly designed to be admired. The elaborate carved and gilded base is topped with a conforming marble top with ogee edge. The piece is secured to the wall with brackets allowing the legs to tuck neatly toward the wall. This gives a visual impression that the table is smaller, but the top surface is more than generous and can easily accommodate a lamp and decorative accessories.
